Terms of Service

Last updated: August 4, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CoreAutomata’s websites, dashboard, APIs, and device companion apps (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, checking the acceptance box, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

CoreAutomata is a commercial, proprietary hosted platform for mobile QA discovery, guided authoring, and related automation assistance. It is not open source. Early access does not grant source code, self-hosting rights, or redistribution rights.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features during early access as we iterate on the product.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract and use the Service only for lawful business or professional purposes. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@coreautomata.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Early access / beta

Features labeled beta, early access, or pilot are provided as-is for evaluation. They may be incomplete, change without notice, or contain defects. Do not rely on early-access features as your sole production QA gate without human review.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code of the Service except where prohibited by law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission.
  • Probe, scan, or attack our infrastructure, or circumvent rate limits or safety controls.
  • Upload malware or content you do not have rights to process.
  • Use the Service to violate others’ rights, applicable law, or app-store / platform policies.
  • Attempt to bypass agent safety controls to complete real purchases, delete production accounts, or perform irreversible actions on live systems without authorization.

5. Your content and apps

You retain ownership of apps, builds, screenshots, and test artifacts you upload or create (“Customer Content”). You grant CoreAutomata a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service for you.

You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and test the apps and accounts you use with CoreAutomata, and that you will prefer test or sandbox credentials for payments and sensitive flows.

6. Device companions

Companion apps (Portal, iOS Bridge, and related agents) connect outbound to CoreAutomata’s cloud to stream device state and execute actions you or the agent request. You are responsible for devices you connect, network configuration, and complying with your organization’s device policies.

7. AI-assisted features

Discovery, enrichment, grounding, and authoring may use automated agents and third-party AI models. Outputs can be incorrect or incomplete. You remain responsible for reviewing tests before relying on them in release decisions.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, branding, documentation, and design, is owned by CoreAutomata or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you other than the limited right to use the Service as permitted.

9. Confidentiality

Non-public features, documentation, and feedback you receive as an early-access user are CoreAutomata confidential information. Do not disclose them publicly without our permission. We will treat your non-public Customer Content as confidential and use it only as needed to operate the Service.

10. Fees

Paid plans, if offered, are described at signup or in an order form. Early-access or free tiers may have usage limits. Unpaid amounts may result in suspension. Taxes are your responsibility where applicable.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COREAUTOMATA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COREAUTOMATA AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) IF YOU USE A FREE OR EARLY-ACCESS TIER.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify CoreAutomata against claims arising from your Customer Content, your apps or test accounts, or your misuse of the Service, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk to the Service or others, or end of an early-access program. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy at https://www.coreautomata.com/privacy explains how we collect and use personal information. It forms part of your agreement with us.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Material changes for paying customers will be communicated when reasonably practicable. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
